25th ANNUAL FATHERS DAY CAR SHOW AND BBQ


Hello all,
Here's hoping to find everyone doing well and planning to make the trip to Salmon in June for our car show. We are changing a few things this year as well as throwing in a couple new twists in hope of pulling off the elusive perfect car show.

Ya, we know it's not going to happen, but the following will outline what we have in mind for you.

This years event will run for three days June 19-21.

Friday June 19.

Pre-registration 3-8 PM at the Stage Coach Inn parking lot.
Poker run starting from there at 5-7 PM, or stock car races at the
Lemhi County Fair Grounds.

Saturday June 20.

Sign in and registration at the Salmon City Park
8 AM till Noon. Judging 1-4 Stereo & Muffler rap following judging
Parade at 5 Pm and dinner at 6 Pm. Stock car races after dinner.
Shuttle runs to town all day Saturday.

Sunday June 21.

Breakfast served from 7:30 till 9:00 AM. Gate opens
at 9 am and awards start at 1 PM.


Car Show participants will receive a one dollar discount at the gate for Stock Car Races . We will try to have a shuttle to take people out there and back if needed.

MORE CLASSES -We have broken up some of the larger classes and added new ones making a total of 21. One of the new classes will be for all Salmon Spokes and Chrome members which will be judged separately.

JUDGING- You will need to be with your car from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday if you want your car judged.

LEAVING TIME on Sunday is scheduled to be 2:00 pm. Due to issues that arose at the end of last year

We hold our annual show each year on Father's Day. Our first car show was in 1984 and we only had five cars. They were all owned by local people. 
The show has really grown thanks to people like you. By 2003 we were up to 175 cars.  We look forward to having you join us!
